WCAB Decision Supports Employers
The Workers' Compensation Appeals Board threw its weight behind the proper use of medical provider networks and is blocking attempts by applicant attorneys to introduce medical reports from non-network providers. The ruling will be an important money saver for California employers who were, until this decision, on the hook for these reports even though they were unauthorized and obtained out of network.
